Make a weekend of it. Lexington, Frankfort, and Midway each have a little something we love.
Catch the Fall Meet Friday or Sunday. The Hill is Keeneland's free tailgate with food, music, wagering, and a jumbo-screen view. Buy track admission early; if it sells out, The Hill is the official fallback. Third-party tickets may appear, but Keeneland does not authorize or guarantee them.
Plan a day at KeenelandStay closer to town for bourbon, pizza, music, and ice cream in the Distillery District—or take a slow lap through downtown's new Gatton Park.
The festival takes over Frankfort all weekend. Friday's Bourbon Street on Broadway is free and family-friendly. Saturday's ticketed riverfront tasting overlaps our wedding, so Friday is your best bet.
See the festivalMake time for a pour at Buffalo Trace, Castle & Key, or Whiskey Thief. Reservations are a good idea.
A charming little town with local shops and some of our favorite food in the Bluegrass. Try Wallace Station for sandwiches or Heirloom for dinner—but it's hard to go wrong.

We met at Fooji in Lexington, drawn together by the energy of startup life and a free-spirited friendship that quickly became something more.
We first got together in Lexington in 2018. After a brief stretch apart when Danny moved to Chicago, we found our way back in 2020 and built a life between Chicago and Lexington until moving in together full time in 2025.
Later that year, we got engaged. Now we get to celebrate our next chapter at Wilson Nurseries in Frankfort, surrounded by everyone we love.
